In Changing Education Paradigms, Sir Ken Robinson looks at the current education system in America, which is similar to education systems in most parts of the world.

The education systems we have are out-dated. They are also based on an industrial model designed to churn out graduates as opposed to educating them. They also have a very narrow idea of what “education” is. He challenges these paradigms and proposes alternative outlooks to education.
